  • Ohio lawmakers are considering a bill requiring recess for grades one to eight (30 minutes in morning and 30 minutes in afternoon) and allowing club sports to count for high school PE. The proposal, now before the House Education Committee, aims to boost students’ physical and mental health.  Record-Courier
  • Certified financial planner Laura Radcliff will present Rules of the Road for Smart Investing at 10 a.m. Feb. 4 in Kent Free Library’s second-floor meeting room.
