  • Jenna Batsch reached 1,000 career points, leading Kent State to a 76-58 victory over Northern Illinois and securing their place in the Mid-American Conference Women's Basketball Tournament.  Kent State Today
  • The Garfield G-Men wrestling team sent five wrestlers to the district tournament and had two alternates after scoring fifth place at the OHSAA Division III sectional tournament.  Weekly Villager
