EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Kent State University’s Board approved creating a Digital Engineering Design Center within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering at its March 4 meeting on campus. The center and two new degree programs in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Aviation Science will offer hands-on training starting fall 2026. Kent State Today
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Kent Parks & Recreation staff recorded two playful otters along the Cuyahoga River, which signals improved water quality after reintroduction efforts. Officials said sightings on cold mornings and at dusk are a welcome sign — a shift from past pollution issues. Record-Courier
