- ➤ Ohio law does not set a minimum age for leaving kids home alone so parents must judge a child’s maturity with Safe Kids Worldwide recommending age 12. With spring break coming, families are preparing safety plans & schedules to keep children safe. Record-Courier

- ➤ Kent State played against Ohio in the MAC Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday, March 12 at Rocket Arena. The winning team advanced to Friday’s semifinals where it will face either Akron or Buffalo. Record-Courier
- ➤ Crestwood juniors Tye Berquist and Rocco Wrobel earned state bids at the Division III Independence District Tournament at Independence High School last weekend. They will debut today at The Ohio State University’s Schottenstein Center in the 175-pound and 126-pound divisions. Weekly Villager
