A loud boom rattled windows in Medina County and nearby communities on Tuesday morning—meteorologists later said the sound was likely a sonic boom from a meteor entering the atmosphere.

Black mothers-to-be and new mothers in Kent can join the Spirit of Motherhood Portage program, a 12-week initiative to boost maternal health.
