- ➤ Tuesday morning, a 7-ton meteor broke apart over Valley City, producing a sonic boom; experts said small fragments might have landed in Medina County between Wadsworth and Chippewa Lake (gloves are recommended) and advised residents to contact scientific organizations for testing.
