- ➤ Fox 8 News has compiled a list of Easter events in Northeast Ohio (including egg hunts, Easter Bunny photo sessions and crafts) aimed at family fun on various April dates. Kent Parks and Recreation will host an Adult Egg Scramble on April 18 (with check-in at 5:30 p.m. and a scramble starting at 7:30 p.m.) and a Youth Easter Hunt on April 19 for kids 9 and younger. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Arthur Jones (77) of Kent was struck and killed while crossing the street near State Route 43 in Brimfield Township at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. FOX8
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that over 200,000 children’s jewelry kits, including Disney-branded products, were recalled due to dangerous levels of a chemical that can cause irritation—customers who bought the kits from January 2023 through September 2024 at stores like Target and Joann should stop using them and contact LaRose Industries for a refund.
