EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Kent State University's President Todd Diacon spoke with the Akron Beacon Journal about the school facing a $1.5—$2 million cost for SB 1, tuition limits, and fewer students. He said the school will use its Transformation 28 plan to restructure colleges and cut about 30 administrative jobs to keep teaching jobs safe. Kent State Today

- ➤ In Ohio, a service dog is a dog that is trained to help a person with a disability in tasks like guiding or alerting to danger—rules that require the handler to manage the dog at all times. Some people use fake service dogs to get benefits, which can hurt the trust in real service animals. Record-Courier
