  • Every building in the James A.   • The Ohio BMV will extend its hours until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 and Saturday, May 3 to help drivers get REAL IDs before the May 7 TSA enforcement—more than half of Ohio licenses are already compliant.  Record-Courier

HEALTH NEWS

  • A Minority Health Conversation will focus on nutrition, health, and heart disease tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kent United Church of Christ (1400 E. Main St.), featuring Carmen Blakely (associate professor at Kent State University) who will explain key dietary measures for reducing heart risks.  Record-Courier
  • Portage County will host National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday to let residents safely dispose of expired and unused prescription medications. Drop boxes are available at locations including Kent Police Department — where only prescription drugs may be dropped off and free naloxone kits and fentanyl test strips will be offered at select sites.  Record-Courier
