GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education settled with former treasurer Kristy Stoicoiu, ending a long legal dispute over her nonrenewal. The board approved a $45,000 settlement on April 27 that releases both parties from further claims. Record-Courier
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Chansey Willis Jr. will transfer to Kent State for the 2026-27 season after playing at Minnesota and Western Michigan, where he led the MAC in scoring and assists. Kent State coach Rob Senderoff said he is eager to add Willis's dynamic play to the team. Record-Courier
