- ➤ The Portage County Engineer's Office announced that a dozen culvert replacement projects will cause road closures next week — each closure running from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. — and affect several roads in Nelson Township, Shalersville Township, and Franklin Township. Record-Courier

- ➤ The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Portage County will host Celebrate Mental Health from noon to 2 p.m. on May 14 at Hometown Bank Plaza in downtown Kent—attendees are encouraged to wear green, paint rocks, and write gratitude letters—and officials from RecoveryOhio and Gov.
