➤ On Saturday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that some 20-ounce clam shell packages of vine-ripe tomatoes sold in stores, including in Ohio, have been recalled due to a possible salmonella contamination—Ray & Mascari Inc. repackaged these tomatoes from a lot supplied by Hanshaw & Capling Farms in Florida.
