- ➤ Suffield Township Fire Chief Bob Rasnick will retire on June 30 after 47 years of service, including 42 as chief; trustees are using the Ohio Fire Chiefs Association to vet candidates and plan to name a replacement by June 15 (he will also serve as Memorial Day parade grand marshal). - ➤ Local high school sports gave teams key wins this week. Mogadore beat East Palestine 9-1 Tuesday and will face Lake Center Christian today (Division VI Northeast 2), while Aurora, Hoban, and Marlington won their semifinals and will play district title games on May 28. Record-Courier
