- ➤ Celebrate Portage is seeking nominations for its annual awards to honor local individuals, businesses and beauty in Portage County. Nominations are accepted via the organization’s website until May 30 and awards will be presented at a dinner planned for fall. Record-Courier

- ➤ Bitdeer signed a deal to buy 257 acres at Turnpike Commerce Center in Shalersville Township to build a 15-building data center campus with an open house scheduled Friday — township officials will review plans at a public meeting on June 16. News 5 Cleveland

- ➤ Kent State University's School of Fashion will mark its 20th anniversary for the New York City Fashion program with a two-day celebration in Manhattan's Garment District on June 11 and 12. - ➤ Kent State football has seven games with kickoff times and TV broadcast info set by the Mid-American Conference. The details were released on May 27 — future games will air on ESPN networks or CBS Sports Network. Record-Courier
- ➤ Portage track & field teams are competing in regional meets across Northeast Ohio. Events are underway today at Austintown (Division III) with teams from Crestwood, Field, Ravenna and Streetsboro, while schedules in North Royalton and Cuyahoga Heights will update state qualifier results.
