Yesterday Akron-Canton Airport announced its three-year strategic plan to upgrade its infrastructure, improve computer systems, and add more flights—steps that include fixing the runway and planning a new taller control tower—meant to boost service and keep costs low.

On May 28, the Ohio House passed a bill that would require free tampons, pads, and daily showers for incarcerated women during menstruation—lawmakers said the measure supports dignity and public health.

The bill now awaits Senate review.
