On May 30th, Governor Mike DeWine announced that Ohio's sales tax holiday runs from August 1st to 14th, letting shoppers avoid state sales tax on most tangible items priced $500 or less—eligible purchases include clothing, electronics, and home goods while motor vehicles, alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana products are excluded.
