Ohio is set to begin a two-week tax holiday on August 1 when most items under $500, including clothing, electronics, and home goods, will be tax-free until August 14—online orders also qualify if they meet the criteria.

Households in Northeast Ohio have seen their electric bills rise 10–15% this summer due to an 800% jump in capacity prices from last year’s PJM auction — experts say the increase adds about $20 per month.
