- ➤ The Windham community will host a car parade on Saturday at 12 p.m. along State Route 303 to support 16-year-old Cairo Svanovec, a Garfield High student who has battled stage four adenocarcinoma for two years. Participants will decorate their cars—adding artistic touches—and join a raffle of donated items—such as prints of Cairo's photography—to help raise funds for her ongoing medical expenses.
