- ➤ Haymaker Farmers’ Market unveiled its largest mural in Portage County on Franklin Avenue on Aug 23—drawing about 1,600 guests during a ribbon-cutting event that celebrated the market’s 30th anniversary with the Haymaker Community Poem. - ➤ A Diamond woman died early Aug. 30 in a single-vehicle crash on State Route 44 in Ravenna Township between Lake Rockwell and Dawley roads—making it the sixth fatal crash on Portage County roads in August. Record-Courier
