  • Kent State University President Todd Diacon discussed Main Street construction—student pilot pinning and support for the arts—during his Talking With Todd webcast on Sept. 30, where he also thanked the campus community for its patience as new laws, reorganization, and economic needs brought changes. More than 900 viewers joined the Teams meeting and submitted questions, and the next webcast will be held later this semester.  Kent State Today

HEALTH NEWS

  • Portage County Health District is offering vaccines for flu, pneumonia and COVID-19 at a series of clinics from Oct.2 to Nov.13, including a clinic today at the Health District Pop Up Pantry in Ravenna. Residents can get vaccines by walk-in or appointment at sites like the district office and Brimfield Library in Kent—vaccine costs vary based on type and insurance coverage.  Record-Courier
