- ➤ Rusty the light orange kitten is settling in well in Kent as he has followed neighbors and a postal worker and even joined a kitty yoga session at 8:30 on Saturday. - ➤ Bent Tree Coffee installed a new overhead crane that safely lifts 150-pound coffee bags at its roastery on North Mantua Street in Kent—most of the $30,000 upgrade came from a $25,000 grant from JobsOhio and Team NEO and improves workflow while setting the stage for future growth. The system was built and installed by PWI to reduce workplace injury for the team. Record-Courier

- ➤ Derrick Tindimwebwa is a sophomore construction management major from Kampala, Uganda—he joined Kent State because his father's ties introduced him to the community and now he directs undergraduate student government involvement. He also plays rugby and secured his first construction management internship, showing his growing role on campus. Kent State Today

- ➤ At Garfield High School, the Vincent Foundation launched a program to raise mental health awareness when the freshman class gathered for a speaker event honoring 1997 graduate Dan Vincent.
