- ➤ Wendy’s plans to close about 300 restaurants nationwide starting in the fourth quarter of 2025 due to underperformance and financial pressure—factors that include challenges for lower-income consumers. Some of the 398 Ohio stores are expected to be affected, but the company has not yet announced which locations will shut. Record-Courier
- ➤ Breeze Airways will begin nonstop flights from Akron-Canton Airport to Savannah on May 7. The service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays and offer travelers an affordable option. Record-Courier
