- ➤ This November, Kent State will host the Poets for Science Gathering, a three-day event blending academic panels & festival-style workshops with over 90 sessions on nature, science, and community topics. Registration costs range from $150 for students to $275 for full participation. Record-Courier

- ➤ Kent State University received a $1.75M gift from the Elisabeth Severance Prentiss Foundation to expand its Mobile Flashes program that offers health services to underserved areas in Northeast Ohio.
