- ➤ Portage County's Job and Family Services is working with partners to help residents get food after SNAP benefits were paused on Nov.1 due to a federal shutdown. The agency will provide extra help today with a drive-thru food pantry in Ravenna and a pop-up event in Garrettsville—local organizations also offer additional support. Record-Courier

- ➤ Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream announced a voluntary recall of Haagen-Dazs chocolate dark chocolate mini bars sold at Kroger and Giant Eagle after it was found they may contain undeclared wheat that can cause allergic reactions.
